OMNE BROWS

No more filling in your brows! This is a machine technique which achieves a natural soft powder look. By brushing the skin with a single nano needle, we build the pigment layer by layer, producing a gradient of color from dark to light. This mimics the natural color progression of the brow from the tail and the core to the bulb. Ombre is a technique that is less selective in terms of ideal candidacy and can be  more successful for those with oily/acne prone skin, aging skin, sensitive skin, and even those who have had previous permanent makeup. Prior to the procedure, we will shape and customize your brows to a size and shape that compliments your facial features and brings out your eyes. We will also select a color that best matches your natural complexion and skin tone, baring in mind undertones and skin conditions. Ombre does not require any tweezing, waxing, plucking, or shaving of the brows and does not damage the existing brow hair. Topical anesthetics are applied before and during the procedure to keep pain and discomfort to a minimum. The procedure requires approximately two hours, and there is no “down time”. A touch-up is required 6-12 weeks after the initial procedure. After that, touch-ups are recommended yearly to maintain color richness and shape.

Please note:  For the first 10-12 days, eyebrows will appear darker, bolder, and thicker due to scab formation, and the natural skin healing process of the immune system. This is common and to be expected for all permanent makeup procedures.

Permanent makeup is NOT recommended for any clients who have the following below:

  • Pregnant or nursing
  • Diabetic
  • Chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
  • Viral infections and/or diseases
  • Epilepsy

Additional Information

Please be aware that the result of the procedure depends on the following: Medication and health conditions, skin Conditions –  i.e. oily and poor skin, very dry/flaky skin, sun-damaged skin, loose or laxed skin, natural skin undertones, alcohol intake and smoking, general stress, immune system, poor diet and not following the aftercare instructions, may affect your healed results.

Antacids, thyroid and anxiety medications have been reported as interfering with permanent makeup either by affecting retention or shifting the pigment to an undesirable tone. Mature clients may need an additional one to two weeks healing for the final results to appear. The better you take care of your skin and protect it from UV rays, the better the outcome and lifespan of the permanent cosmetic procedures.

AFTERCARE AND HEALING
Your post procedure care consists of cleaning your eyebrows with our aftercare pads for the first 4 hours every hour after your procedure and then implementing 10 days dry healing. This means that your brows cannot get wet at all. We will provide you with protective visors for showering. It would be best to wash and cleanse your face with a washcloth or wipes for these ten days to avoid any splashing on your brows. In addition, not profuse sweating (hot yoga and the sauna will have to be on pause for 10 days), no creams, no makeup directly on the brows, and no sun exposure (if you know you will need to be in the sun for extended periods of time you must wear a wide brimmed hat). You must let the scabbing process happen naturally. This is very important for your retention and skin healing. Do NOT pick at the scabs, scratch your brows, peel your scabs off, or scrub the area. This can result in scarring and will affect your overall retention of the pigment. After 10 days you may resume your normal life and beauty routines.
